Lover not a fighter

Antique Valentine 1909 01.jpg
Hey Ladies! ... As all of you have already noticed, it's that time of the year where love and romantic things are absolutely everywere...Love is, without any doubt, the most wonderful of all feelings in this world.  It's Valentine's Day 2015 and what could be a better time to let your dear ones know that you love them...  if you don't know what to do for this special ocassion here are some ideas...

1.-Reenact your first date

Women love it when men remember details from when they were still getting to know each other. Think back to your first date, and take her to the same place, eat the same food and do the same things that first sparked your romance.

2.-Get Physical

No, not that kind of "physical." With any luck, that’s where your Valentine’s Day date will end up, but you can start things off by getting your heart rates up together doing something fun. Take her out ice skating or cross-country skiing, or spend some time together at an indoor swimming pool. The idea is to enjoy a little activity and get those hormones flowing to leave you both in loving moods

3.-Go for a massage

Massage is a must-do activity for Valentine’s Day. You can either treat her to a full-body, sensual massage with scented (and even edible) oils or lotions, or give yourself a little pampering and book a couple’s massage at a spa. A relaxing massage is just the thing to get both of you in the mood for Valentine’s Day.

4.-Make a path of rose petals

Anticipation is half the fun of a romantic surprise. Start the excitement when she walks in the door by leaving a trail of rose petals leading to the bedroom, where she’ll find Valentine’s Day gifts. Feel free to go all out with the heart-shaped box of chocolates, red-and-white teddy bears and candy hearts. She’ll love the corny romance of it all. It can be one of the best things you'll do on Valentine's Day.

5.-Be homebodies

Sometimes the best thing to do on Valentine’s Day is spending some uninterrupted time together. You don’t need to leave the house to make Valentine’s Day special. Think of how great it could be to spend the entire day in bed together. Turn off your phones, don’t answer the door and enjoy each other.

6.-Get away

If you’ve got the time, money and freedom, stretch your Valentine’s Day into a Valentine’s weekend away at a romantic resort or bed-and-breakfast. This way you can combine the relaxation of a mini-vacation with time spent alone together getting amorous.

7.-Dress up

Pull out all the stops and dress up in your finest. No matter what your plans are -- whether you’ve got reservations at a posh restaurant or you’re eating a meal together at home -- dressing up and good grooming will make the occasion feel extra special. Most women love having the chance to get all dolled up, and you can both enjoy looking your best while spending time together

Well, there are plenty of ideas you can try in this february's special date... you only need to choose one option or even all! In this case... the more, the better!

Hair trends 2015

If you are kind of bored about your appearance, you only need a hair remake.... but obviouslly following this year trends... for example:
haircolor trends 2015 4 Hair Trends: What’s Hot & Whats Not In 2015?Bob hairstyles – They are a big look for this season, especially considering the previous point about shorter styles being definitely in. Casual benefits and low-maintenance styles are taking place of swept-over curls and long bed heads. This is tricky one so be careful with this one if you are trying to get there on your own, make sure that you don’t make a mess of your hair -choose the good stuff, especially pay attention and choose the best hair straightener that’s within your budget.
Plaits – Favorite on the red carpet right now. Whatever your face shape or preferred style is, you’ll find this look more than appealing.
Medium length hairstyles – They are definitely the cut of this season. They’re taking over the longer, glamorous styles due to their low-maintenance and practicality.
Fringes – It’s an easy yet modern way out of your everyday style. You don’t feel like full-on chop and you still want a change, this is your golden ticket. Plus, it works well with all hair lengths.
Now i'll show you some pictures with different hair styles so you can see how awesome they look... aaand it's your decision to make a change or continue with the same boring look...
The Off-Centre Parting -- In keeping with the season's trend for "real" beauty, partings were worn neither neatly at one side nor precisely in the centre - rather they were ever so slightly askew at the likes of Jonathan Saunders, Christian Dior, Chloé and Roberto Cavalli for a more natural feel.
Gilded Adornments -- This season the perfect finishing touch to the beauty looks was a flash of gold or silver. Piercings had their moment at Rodarte thanks to the hoop-studded brows, whilst gold lip rings were drawn on with liner at Dries Van Noten. At Céline we saw some of the most coveted accessories of the season - metal circle barrettes worn at the back of the head - whilst tiny golden shells and starfish adorned the romantic hairstyles at Valentino.
Woodstock Girls -- The Seventies was one of fashion's biggest inspirations for spring - think denim, denim and more denim - so it makes sense that the era had a beauty moment too. Woodstock waves were on show at Emilio Pucci, Marchesa and Anna Sui, whilst the shimmery eyes at House of Holland and the stars painted on the models' faces at Tommy Hilfiger had an undeniable Seventies festival vibe.
The Low Ponytail -- Crimped at Stella McCartney, bedhead-style at Giambattista Valli, sporty at Alexander Wang and wet-look at Prada - however you wear your ponytail for spring, wear it low at the nape of your neck as was done almost universally at the shows.

So... here is the magic recipe:

Total Time: 40 min
Yield: 1 dozen
Prep: 20 min
Cook: 20 min

Ingredients

2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons butter

1 cup buttermilk, chilled

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Using your fingertips, rub butter and shortening into dry ingredients until mixture looks like crumbs. Turn dough onto floured surface, dust top with flour and gently fold dough over on itself 5 or 6 times. Press into a 1-inch thick round. Cut out biscuits with a 2-inch cutter, being sure to push straight down through the dough. Place biscuits on baking sheet so that they just touch. Reform scrap dough, working it as little as possible and continue cutting. (Biscuits from the second pass will not be quite as light as those from the first, but hey, that's life.)

Bake until biscuits are tall and light gold on top, 15 to 20 minutes.
